Default Can You put a 2014 XJ 3.0 L supercharged engine in a 2016 F type?

Sadly my case has led to purchasing a used engine..... Tough to find but heres the options i have now 80 KM from my HOUSE
9100 - CAD + TAX - has 128,000 KILOMETRES ON THE ENGINE

30 Day Part only warranty
Comes with everything

Option 2 Across Country in Alberta (Im In Ontario)
2014 FTYPE Engine -
$11500 + $1000 Core Exchange + 250/300$ Freight - 23,000 km ON THE ENGINE
90 day warranty on the engine

OPTION 3
32000 KM - $11500 no super charger
4000 KM - $15,000 no supercharger

The person over phone in Alberta is telling me for the engine some of the early ftype engines wont work because of some fitting issues
Long Block - intake -

He says - Left side halfway down the block - grid pattern cast right into block some of them have a sensor you can plug in -

some of them there’s no hole there - to make sure its the same motor?

Anyone know what he's talking about?

Im thinking the 9100$ engine is my best bet if were able to determine it will fit - the engine itself is higher mileage but honestly any money savings helps with this car at this point.

THoughts?

How much of your existing engine is salvagable? Assuming that the supercharger is good, you could put it on the replacement engine if need be.

That's a ton of miles on the $9100 engine, but if you can get them to send you of a video of them doing a compression check + leakdown test, that would give a much better feeling for what you're signing up for. Also, 30-days parts guarantee sounds good, but by the time the engine is installed and running, there's a good chance that time will have expired. Option 2 is much better both for mileage and warrantee, but yeah, it's so much more expensive, it's probably better to go with your first choice, but get it checked out. If they won't do it for whatever reason, that's a sign that they aren't willing to work with you, AND that they may know something's wrong with it. If it's runnable, that's best of all, as they can/should send you a video of it running, to rule out any horrible noises.

Also, they're all used engines, so don't be afraid to negotiate the price down, and let them know up front that you're considering several sources. Lastly, whichever engine you're considering, find out why it's there... car rear-ended, okay, hit on the side, probably okay, hit in the front, who knows.

And I can't help myself but throw out that, for that much money, an LS swap could be cheaper, but I realize that's a huge project.
