I don't. The battery charger I have does have a 200A engine start function though.

 

The car alarm will 'trigger' then chirp its built in speaker when the battery gets drained as it assumes someone has tried to disconnect power. Connecting a battery charger then powers the car's twin horns (which are extremely loud) as the alarm has been tiggered. The handbook says.... If the alarm has been triggered, it can be deactivated by any one of the following methods:

Pressing the unlock button on the Smart key. (only if enough amps to power the car's fob antennae)

Opening a door using Keyless entry. (only if enough amps to power the car's fob antennae)

Pressing the START/STOP button with a valid Smart key present. (may require the backup start procedure where you have to hold the key fob against the small depression in the lower driver facia. Page 78 of user manual)

Basically if you can get the car started the alarm will reset and your neighbours will be happy )

 

Let the alarm blare away for about 5 mins before the smart key let me unlock the car to finally get it to shut up. Took a little bit longer to get the trunk released.

Gave my neighbors a heads up so no headaches on that front yet.
