They described the personality of my car perfectly, but not me. (Well, maybe the quick-thinking, but I'll get back to you on that. )

The percentages are meaningless. Only 3% of the cars are green because virtually no manufacturers offer green. Which is cause and which is effect?

Now, what about yellow?

My car color history:
Red ('86), silver ('89), green ('94), black ('01), silver ('10), red ('14). All but the last one (Jag) were bought off the lot. Had a blue MG Midget in high school.

If Jaguar offered British Racing Green I'd have ordered that, just out of tradition. What they call BRG isn't though, so I went with my own tradition.

As my car is gray (between silver and black), I'll therefore assume that I'm self-assured of my elegance, unfailing in my emotional steadiness, and calmly aloof.

Except it's Lunar gray, and we all know that the full moon is associated with insanity.

Yes for me

Green, white, red, white, red, green, blue, red, black, white, green, red, blue, black, silver, silver, red.

What does that say about us.

Answer: Schizophrenia - Approximately 1% of the population.

(Amazing there are at least 3 of us here. Perhaps the next article should be on psychological profiles of various car makes)

Most of my cars are usually white on red, or occasionally black on black. Most of the cars I share with my wife are dark grey, light grey, or silver on black. We have had one green car, but it was used and an SUV so it looked okay. I really wanted IRR for the F-Type, but ended up with white on red as usual.

No offense, but white cars are not for me. Surprisingly, I like Firesand on the F-Type, but it stands out a bit much for my driving style.

I was disappointed. Real BRG would have been, as my British friends might say, the dogs.

Same here. I really wanted BRG but in most light, and particularly low light, it looked black to me. Recently saw a Project 7 and thought it was black but it was BRG. Ended up with IRR and I am very happy with my choice but a true BRG F-Type would have been something to see.

I always felt the same way and have never owned a white car before. On the F-Type, the white doesn't photograph as well as some other colors, in my view, but it looks stunning in person.

I went to the dealer fully intending to purchase a Rhodium Silver car, but when I saw an identically equipped Polaris White car, I immediately switched.

Driver indications: Gives driver ample opportunities to practice talking themself out of a speeding ticket for going 30 MPH over the speed limit. When this fails, at least driver can take comfort knowing yellow helps to hide dirt and bug splatters, and is still one of the most awesome colors for a sports car.

The F-Type looks great in a yellow wrap. Any color that shows off its lines in a different way works for me.

Saw a Sapphire Blue coupe at my club today. That may be the prettiest coupe color of them all - just gorgeous.
