Happy to be a 3%er. But seriously, the colors offered by all mfgrs. are soooo boring. Any color you want as long as it's black, white, silver or gray.

 

Back in 2010 when I was shopping for a 911, I told all the dealers I talked to I was only interested in three colors: Speed Yellow, Guards Red, and maybe white.

They all said the same thing - they very rarely ever see pre-owneds come in with those colors, and the dealers never order such colors for spec cars. Luckily, a Speed Yellow pre-owned did end up coming in, which I ended up buying.

Same thing when I was looking for the Jag. I was only interested in Italian Racing Red, Firesand Orange, and maybe white. I was interested in British Racing Green until I saw it in person, and it was way too dark for me.

On a purely utilitarian vehicle, such as my Jeep, I don't really care what color it is. It could be two-tone silver and gray for all I care.

But on a sports car, it has to be something that pops to me. I saw a Firesand Orange with black wheels that was stunning (wasn't an R, otherwise I might have gotten it). I love outrageous colors. Assuming Jag eventually makes an SVR F-Type, I'd be seriously tempted to order one in white and have it painted or wrapped into a bright yellow.
