I am considering the same thing privately, havent even told the misses who would be devastated.
You nailed it- This is the first car since the FJ40 designed with that lifetime ownership in mind.
Ironic, they invented the category, ultra durable go anywhere, do it all, but now using the Land Cruiser global penetration strategy.
They will have MT by my calculation. They have announced global commercial vehicles. I believe some markets will demand MT.
Never has JLR invested more in any car. Look at the Bond style films they shot. The car even has a soundtrack.
