Default Carbon Fiber... Mina?

Has anyone here seen or purchased any CF from Mina?

I find their prices are MUCH lower than Jaguar authentic CF.

Anyone know what the quality / fit and finish are like?

The prices are right but the set would be complete if they offered the rear diffuser .

I would be curious to see the front splitter blade and finishers. That's a lot less than the $3,825.00 Austin Jaguar Land Rover is asking on eBay for the OEM kit.

The Mina pieces appear to be stick on overlays. Might look kinda cheap.

Front splitter blade would be nice being that it took me only 1.5 hrs of driving my brand new R to get my first rock chip there.

Mina is a mixed bag and it really depends on the piece you are looking for. Mirror caps and louvres are stick on and you can tell, at least for my XKRS. The front splitter for my XKRS was $700 from Mina while $3,000 from Jaguar. The Mina splitter is 4-5 times the thickness of the Jag part and much better.

Well, I definitely don't want stick on overlays. If I'm going that route I'd just wrap it. Thank you for the info!

I emailed them and asked if they could provide photos of the splitter parts. I will share if I hear back.

I already have the OEM mirror covers, side and hood vents.

Shipping and Insurance from London to Texas, plus your cost is more than I'd like to spend at this time.

If I buy any CF, I want to be sure I can purchase a complete "set" so going OEM maybe be the best choice... Just not in the budget right now with Christmas purchases for others on the way as well.

Mina customer service was prompt. They sent me higher resolution photos on the front splitter blade and finishers.

If you expand the view you will see that while the fit doesn't appear to be perfect on the splitter blade (see lower right side), it's pretty close and the CF looks good. I think I am going to try them out and send them back if not fully satisfied. If they work and look good, it's a HUGE savings over OEM... $412 for the kit vs $3,800. Hope it's not a case of you get what you pay for, but we'll see. I will keep you all informed and post my own pics when they arrive.

They also said that they are working on CF sills and should have them ready in about a month.

Thank you Schwabe for the feedback.

In case of the F-Type the front splitter from mina is a stick-on, for the XKRS it was a solid piece replacing the stock front splitter. You can tell when you get close. It is all in your perception. I had my F-Type rear diffuser hydro dipped in a carbon fiber pattern and then wrapped in clear bra. You can definitely tell but most people will not even see the piece and to me it looks better than the matt black, little rough plastic piece that it was on the 2014 models.

I gotta tell you, no matter how often I see these cars - and yours is a beaut (or should I say, "PURRTY"?); stunning color - it never ceases to put a smile on my face. Nice touch on that rear diffuser if you ask me.

Best regards,
Jay

Follow up:

Received the Mina CF Pieces a couple weeks ago and ended up sending them back for credit. The quality of the CF was very good, but the splitter blade was slightly warped and had fitment issues. The front fins did not fit the AWD ground effects, but would fit all MY15 and MY16 with RWD. Additionally, these parts are overlays that attach with a silicone glue that was included. This avenue was not for me.

However, the folks at Mina were very understanding and provided great customer service throughout.

I bought the set and have yet to install. I like the way they look and I tested the fit and it is perfect. I like the overlay and the price savings. Very easy to put on but it is unusually cold in Vegas now so I'm waiting for a 60's day to do it. The mirror caps are the only harder part as they recommend taking existing covers off to mount . They just snap off . I get into LA and Chris offered to put it all on for me if I prefer. I bought mirror covers from China and they are now carbon fiber dip bowls as the fit wasn't even close. I think this is a value alternative to Jags pieces. They have been very easy to deal with.
