kinda new here, what are some good options for replacing my red mirror covers with carbon fiber ones?? I'd like something that isnt terribly expensive.

Thanks in advance!!

Thanks. I've seen them as cheap as $75-$100 on ebay but figured that they were that... cheap...

The Mina ones are just carbon fiber covers that you glue onto your existing mirror cases. Not a great solution in my mind.

I looked at at the cheap eBay ones but finally decided to bite the bullet and buy the OEM Jaguar ones. Definitely not cheap but they are great quality.

I have the Mina covers and if done correctly you would never know the difference.

You have to remove the old cover and glue and clamp them for awhile.

You are probably somewhere in the $1000 range with taxes and shipping

I installed them myself, pretty easy. Chris at Mina will send you everything you need. You just pop the old covers off, clean them with some alcohol pads silicon them and I used some clamps I got at Home Depot to hold the glue in place. The side vents, I left on the car and siliconed in place, but I used two shovel handles to keep pressure on it until it cured. I've been ordering stuff from Mina for years and always liked the quality. I think he list them for $200.

I'm just waiting now for the carbon front splitter to come.

Thanks for the pix AKC. The splitters you are talking about, are they the overlays that Mina sells? I'd love to see what they look like when you get them. Are your side vents overlays too? I didn't those on the Mina site (but did see the hood vent overlays.)
I've been thinking about those but was wondering if the overlays look janky or look OK.
ek, thanks for that site, even cheaper than the Jaguar Reno site.

The splitter is back ordered for now, the side vents are overlays and you can't tell difference. I wouldn't have installed everything if it didn't look right.

I used Mina and they are very easy to do. At first ordered from China and ended up with 2 carbon fiber dip bowls for $89. I also did the splitter pieces, even easier.

Double side tape. When they had them the mirrors and wings were put on with an enclosed silicon, supposed to be removable. I think I would have liked to put the apron on with silicon. But they all look fine and get some comments at cars and coffee.
