Default CarPlay Installed in 2017 Jaguar F-Type Premium
Hey community! Has anyone done the CarPlay/Android Auto update yet for their F-Type? I know they announced it awhile back and see they sell the kit for the new F-Types but has anyone added it successfully to their pre-2019 F-Type?

I had my 2016 in yesterday for scheduled service and asked for CarPlay if available. Service checked and it is not available for the 2016 year due to the in control set up. They did say they had installed it recently on one or two other later jag models (other than f type) so there is hope for 2017 and later models.

On 2017 hardware you cannot get it.

Even with the new hardware they offer there is no way at all to get the CarPlay from them?
