Default Cat Has New Paws

Having had my 2015 F Type Coupe R about one month, I am about almost with the mods. This is such a beautiful vehicle, one of the most attractive on the market in my opinion.

1. Tinted glass all around. 50 tint sides and rear, 70 tint front windshield
2. Lowered the car 1.3 inches front and rear, no ride degradation with the H&R s
springs
3. ECU Tuning Group re-programmed my ECU and changed out the pulley, hp
rated at 618 (and it feels like it). Damn fast.
4. ADV.1 5.1 monoblock forged 21 inch: 9 inch front with 5 mil spacers
(255/21/30 tires), and 10.5 inch rear with 30 mil. bolt on spacer (305/21/25
tires). Michelin Super Sports all around.
5. Changed out interior shift paddles to Jag brushed steel, they are longer also.
6 Added Jag. foot rest to match the other peddles.
7 De-badged the rear, except for the leaper (satin black)

Car looks great although I think you lowered it too much.

How are the new tires?

You're doing your thing Jeff. That's one mean looking R! I've not one mod yet.

I was concerned about the ride with the 21's, but the ride is not negatively impacted. Lower profile tires do feel slightly more road feel through the steering wheel, but not a negative.

Looks great. Can't wait to put Super Sports on, hate P Zeros. Am looking to put spacers on
both my Jag and my wife's Ghibli, probably Formula Dynamics as they are based in Vegas and have a local dealer. They also do DBW, not needed on Jag, but great for cars with turbo lag like the Maserati. I don't seem to need tint on Jag, but standard in Vegas is 20%.

Looks great! It's already tail happy at 550, it's gotta be fun with 600+ hp.

Great looking car, but I prefer the previous wheels personally. Looks good either way though!

I think it looks nasty!!!!!

Ignore anyone telling you you lowered it to much - they didn't help pay for your car.

Very nice, as much as I dislike ADV they look good on the car. I am partial to simple 5 spoke designs. Good job!!

Thanks much for the compliments
I recommend the lowered stance, really makes the car look wide and fills the huge gaps to the tires.
I picked the ADV wheels due to their simple design aesthetics. That way, they do not detract from the awesome appearance of the car.

Looks bad a** Jeff!

Love the look, but could never go that low in MI with the crappy roads we have here.

Looks very nice. But I cannot imagine driving a car that low is very practical! You'll probably get stuck on speed bumps every other week or punch a hole in your oil pan!

Looks good! Never expected the ADV to fit the F-Type like that.

Looks good Jeff--- all your cars have though...

I dont think its too low from a functional standpoint; I have a GT3 and Ferrari 458 which sit lower and I dont have issues on the road (The F car is lowered 30mm). The F Type R from the factory sits very high IMO and the gaps are excessive. While I went the route of the Velocity AP springs which yielded a milder drop at 8/10ths of an inch, the H&R set up achieves what the OP probably wanted (after seeing many of his cars on other boards) which is tire on fender.

I find it hard to believe that lowering the car and putting larger rims doesn't affect ride quality....
