Default Catalytic Converter protection for F type

did a search but could not find anything on CC protection on an F. Road & Track had a piece in their feed today, so thought I'd look into it. I don't think I need something like this... car is always stored in garage, never parked in lot for more than 2-3 hours (yes, the CC could be gone) and I'm not sure how easy it is to get a CC off on this car. What have other owners experienced? loss? did you buy a protective device?

Personally I do not feel super threatened by cat thieves on the F-Type. The cats are recessed quite far up towards the front near the engine and are not nearly as easy to access as a typical sedan. If a thief did bother jacking up the car and taking a look at where the cats are, they would probably pick an easier target.

The only true protection from theft is having up to date insurance that you have confirmed covers you for the specific situations you expect to encounter.

If the car is garaged most of the time and not left in public much, thats probably as much as you can realistically do. Some sort of physical protection might be useful to add time and noise, but cat theives are a class of theif who are often less worried about noise than others.
