Default CEL code

Hey Gang:

Some spirited driving today threw a CEL. I picked up a reader and it says:

"HO2S HEATER CONTROL CIRCUIT BANK 1 SENSOR 3"

I am wondering if this warrants a trip to the Jag dealer which is over an hour away?

I was going to try erasing the code and see if it throws again before calling the dealership.

Any insight would be appreciated. Car is driving fine; have a few hundred clicks with a new VAP tune, not sure if relevant or not.

This is a common issue with 3.0 and 5.0L engines. Simple replace and code clear will fix it. May lose some fuel mileage due to faulty oxygen sensor.
