This. Traditionally, front-engined cars would always wear out the front brakes first because 70% of the work was being done in the front due to weight transfer to the front wheels under braking. Today, most DSC/LKA systems rely heavily on the rear brakes (dragging one or the other) to make constant minute adjustments before resorting to other more invasive measures (throttle cut, active steer, etc.) to keep the car in line. As a result, the rears wear out much faster.
