i include gtr only for performance but i really don't like the style
i want take the v8 r8 audi 4.2 but... style i love it traction handling brake and all .... only 1 thing the torque and the accelleration ? i think i go tune it and i go to 460 hp
i think i don't notice a great difference from f-type that is really fantastic
i really love the r8 in white colour
991 of course i pay more (s version 400 hp) all the porsche stuff ...but.... ? don't know
what is your opinion guys ?
of course i can take the f-type

but i really don't like the line of the gtr (not classic sport car line)
r8 is like exotic car and performance are a good point

I'm a R8 fan, love the looks, shopped it before buying the F type. From talking to a few R8 owners, most said V-10 is the way to go, and many complained that to have fun in the R8 you need to be driving it at speeds that can put you in jail. Also, the generations before the current ones had a pretty mediocre interior. So I found myself looking at late model V-10's and they are pricey. That's why I opted for the F type - used vs. used it is about 1/2 the price of the R8, its easy to have fun with at less insane speeds, and frankly I think it gets as much attention visually as an R8 would, if that is your goal...

Having driven a '14 GTR, yes its fast once it gets going...but interior is cheap and feels clunky when driving. I did not like the transmission. Exhaust sounds identical to a vacuum cleaner.
No experience with 911's but from what I've heard, out handle the F-Type.
I would only get a V10 R8 Manual transmission. End of story.

Hi there
Driven / owned all these!
R8 V8 - Forget it, they are slow, used to borrow a friends when I had my 997.1 Carrera S and driven a few others, in a straight line it was no faster than my Carrera S with power pack. The R8 V8 suffers badly from coking up so they rarely make 400 plus horsepower, simply avoid if you want a properly fast car. If you want looks, sweet handling and noise, then its a good car.
R8 V10 manual - epic sound, very good performance, a very good car!
R8 V10 auto - Avoid earlier R-Tronic cars, its terrible, the newer S-Tronic is much better and very fast, also try get a Plus edition car, passive dampers (firmer), better steering, more a drivers car. However as mentioned R8's you gotta drive really quick to actually feel engaged. Also a warranty is a must, the S-tronic gearbox alone is a $30,000 bill should it fail, that V10 engine, even more money!
GTR - Owned an R34 GTR Vspec and driven three R35 GTR's all were stage 2-4 cars, very fast, huge grip, but the sound is a bit meh, the running cost outrageous, I got 11mpg and they eat their brake disc. Also again you have to drive really fast to feel engaged!
911 - Try to get a 991 GTS, epic cars, best handling of all the cars you mention and even though around 400HP with the PDK they are pretty rapid, PDK fantastic, great sound if an NA model, no so good sounding if a turbo charged model.
Needless to say I considered all the above cars, my money went on an SVR! A lot more fun and engaging at lower speeds, but just as capable as the GTR should you push it and more engaging at same time. R8 V10 aside, the SVR sounds absolute amazing and in terms of performance the my SVR matches my mates stage 4 GTR's in quarter mile, also R8 V10 so no lacking their either.
Get an SVR.

so thanks to all
but i think f-type is the best
r8 v8 , too slow not much torque and form my f type to r8 i think i don't notice better performance (probably i notice worst because of great torque of f type)
r tronic , no thanks
v10 is out of my plans
gtr ok monster performance but zero looks zero sound (running cost of an exotic car)
991 is my natural choice because porsche is porsche and 400 hp pdk is great in all , but it's a little bit common the porsche 991 , so
the real solution for me is to wrap satin white the f type or racing blue , and i have a perfect car for another year
next year i go for New R8 or mclaren or porsche
another idea is : wrap f-type and buy a alfa romeo 4c , toy car or a lotus exige s , or RE buy a used cayman mk1

I've lusted after an R8 V10 since I test drove one for fun a few years ago. Alas, no more manuals in the new ones and CPOs are virtually non-existent. That said (and I still want one) I'm waiting to actually see a C8. Having owned a mid-engine car in the past (MR2) I find them much more fun than having the engine in the nose.
