It absolutely is not. Your imagination that is. I've positively noticed that my 2015 V6S got louder and deeper sounding after, oh, 1,000+ miles. Like most fine wines, getting better with age! You're not alone Clay, in that it's likely many around us think it's too loud. Good thing we don't really care what they think...we love it. (And, of course, our wives).

Best regards,
Jay

Had a ball with the loaner yesterday

So pleased that the exhaust sound is all there, I worked out how the guys in the video above are triggering so much crackle at low rpm speeds

They are downshifting then immediately tapping the throttle repeatedly very very lightly, and the crackle goes nuts

Did a quick hill run and really like the dampening and front end. In fact the dampening is about the best I've ever experienced in a road car. UK B roads are very similar to our country roads in Aus, so it makes sense how composed the chassis feels over bumps

Undecided whether to go rwd or awd (we get both v8's in Aus). Also concerned the new electric steering will remove that nice mechanical weighting when loaded up mid corner

Will be specing the ceramics chiefly for the loss of unsprung mass to improve turn in and change of direction, but concerned about that extra 80kg in the front axle from awd. Maybe the ceramics and extra weight in the front will cancel each other out lol

My only complaints, trivial being no way to move the sun visor to the side - important when you have a hole in the ozone layer above you 12 hours a day, but more importantly was a worrying amount of rear axle tramp when spinning the rear wheels

The car I was driving was a heavily used press car, so I hope it's just a wear and tear issue

I've not not seen that problem anywhere on the F-Type yet. Should be easily resolved with a new set of rear strut cartridges.
