Default Climate Control / Windshield Condensation

If I park the car and leave it standing for a couple of hours after driving with climate on (auto setting), when I get back in and start the car I get a pretty large blast of condensation onto the windshield as the climate starts back up again - takes about 20 seconds to clear. Car is a '14 V8S.

Anyone else experience this? Is there a drain plug or something that could be blocked?

Happens to my '16 R, but I don't have an issue with it. I put it on max defrost (I also have a heated windshield, but not sure if that makes a difference) and it's all cleared up before the engine finishes its start-up high revs procedure.

If you live in a humid part of the country, it's guaranteed to occurred. These cars have fast acting climate systems that get cold fast and the airborne moisture will condense on the windscreen.

Agreed with this. By far this car has one of the best air conditioners I have ever experienced. I know the cabin is small, but it can handle the Florida heat (I have to park outside) in less than 30 seconds.

My F-type has heated front windshield so it clears nearly instantly. I like this feature quite a bit in the fall.
