Clutch Satisfaction

So to summarize:
First generation clutch - T2R18945
Second generation clutch - T2R21165
Third generation clutch - T2R25681
First generation flywheel - T2R8810
Second generation flywheel - T2R20968
So to best of our knowledge latest setup is 2nd gen flywheel with 3d gen clutch. Or is there 3d gen flywheel as well?

OK IM SUPER EXCITED TO GET MY CAR FIXED
MD 01/16
My f type is at the dealer, 1015 miles. I'd love to have it done once and correctly. (wish i stumbled upon this thread sooner)
I'm sure because of the date on this thread that mine are the first generation parts. I'll call my SA and give him the codes posted above.

Sounds like the same symptoms. My clutch totally blew apart at 800 miles. They then replaced the clutch and flywheel with the initial part numbers. The clutch would slip badly after a vigorous shift from 1st to 2nd, or 2nd-3rd (probably shifting into other gears as well, but at that point you're north of 100 mph). The third clutch and flywheel, installed a couple thousand miles later, were totally different numbers as listed earlier in the thread. That combo is now still working like a dream after 15k miles. Subsequently there was an additional update to the clutch (not the flywheel), but I haven't needed that.

very awesome, i'm really excited to have the transmission shift fast, like any sports car should shift. so when you dump the clutch into second above 6k rpm it has no slip at all?
i'd like to add, the first test drive i had with another base manual f type about 6 months ago, the car perfectly chirped into second. (mine i haven't heard a single up shift chirp)

Don't bother with the tune before the clutch is sorted. You don't want to give the dealer an excuse not to fix the clutch under warranty, and you won't be able to take advantage of any additional power until the clutch is fixed anyway.

I wonder if third generation of clutches is functional or cost related redesign? That is, JLR engineering delivered timely fix, then changed it again. There has to be a good reason. JLR wouldn't do it "just because".
Second generation clutch so far performed well on the track - so it isn't performance of 2nd gen clutch that get them to change it. However, second generation clutch isn't at all gentle. Closer to a racing clutch than what you would normally find in a street car. I wonder if this setup sends too much shock through the drive train, as flex disks and such are in my opinion are under designed on this car. Could anyone look into redesigned MY18 F-type parts catalog to see if other part numbers for the drive train changed for the MT cars?
Either way, we have a live canary - Unhingd. His tune will let the rest of us know what is likely to blow up first. Thanks!

But Clutch....
So this earlier comment is correct? SinF kindly suggested:
First generation clutch - T2R18945
Second generation clutch - T2R21165
Third generation clutch - T2R25681
First generation flywheel - T2R8810
Second generation flywheel - T2R20968

Yeah... I need to start a notepad of all the stuff.... justdrive, stereosystem, etc. Is there a simple, easy to "get" running list of the upgrades / updates that aren't necessarily big warranty items?
But Clutch....

Could someone please investigate if redesigned F-type has any new drive train part numbers in MT car? It might not be just third-gen clutch, it could be also other parts that were beefed up. I don't have any facts to back this up, but my 'gut feel' is that second generation clutch is too harsh and sends too much shock down the drive train on fast shifts. I like how it feels and handles, but not if I have to get a new drive shaft every 3-4 years.
For example, some of my classic cars have MASSIVE drive shaft flex disks. They make less power than F-type, yet engineers felt it was necessary to protect components. By comparison MT F-type has AT-like setup. Does it mean that in a couple years of hard shifts we will need new drive shafts, bearings and input seals?
