I know we already have our unhingd stickers, but can we actually create some sort of award for him?

Is it too late to nominate him for President?

I believe Scotch and cigars would be readily accepted...

Aww shucks, I'm just a dumb guy who fell in love with a low-mile Sapphire Blue Jag.

This is incorrect. I have seen 2016 MT production VINs g8K26xxx with carfax history showing delivery/sales dates of April/May 2015.

There were a lot more than 2 pre-prod MT press cars, the number was probably closer to 15-20. I have record of at least 10 US manual "pre-production VINs" and 1 for Canada. Earliest manual VIN I've seen was somewhere in the 18xxxs.

FWIW, my MT 2016 was ordered in April/May, and delivered August 12th 2015
NB: edited wrong date...

August 2016? I would think they would be in the 2017 model year by then.

I'm pretty sure he means that his 2016 was delivered in 2015. That's about two weeks after mine was delivered. A few of us were chomping at the bit. Mine would have been even earlier but when specs came out to order I had to wait for my dealer to get an available slot.

Correctamundo and fixed. I'm not sure how much he charges translator, but it is well appreciated.

In North America? I know they were rolling them out earlier than that in Europe. But certainly nothing close to the g8k20xxx number reported above. That one was definitely preproduction. There may certainly have been a few more than two, but I can only go by what was reported out of topix.

Yes. in North America. How far back/forward did you go when checking the VIN numbers when you were going through Topix gathering the data? g8k20????

I won't do what I want to do, which would be about 5 rambling paragraphs about how much the infocom game, books, radio series, radio plays, movie, douglas adams, etc has been in my life. But I use that line so often, and used to have a shirt with that on it. I also have a shirt with a sperm whale and bowl of petunias saying "Oh no, not again". Lastly I've an adorable plate with that same imagery I bought of Etsy.

There's nothing to solve modern woes like brilliant humor. =)

Actually, I've got this terrible pain in all the diodes on my left side. But I have a brain the size of a planet! =)

So how many 2016 Pre-Prod Manual F-Types did you find in Topix? I'm close to completing manual production numbers for years 2018 and 2019.

I never bothered recording the non-NA numbers. I just took note of those two NA cars, one coupe and one Vert.

Interesting. I finally found my old spreadsheet from a couple years ago when I was going to supposedly find the manual F-Type numbers.
I am showing 16 North America Pre-Production Models. Some K20XXX- and a few 21XXX
You mentioned on an earlier post you looked up all the late 2015 models and early 2016s in Topix? How far back you go? If you went back sequentially you should've found a lot more than 2 US manual F-Types. In fact most are around the serial number 20768 that was mentioned previously since that seems to be the first batch of NA manuals made.
