Default Code Reader - got a favorite?

Looking to buy a reader that can get into more than just the engine codes. One that can read brakes and airbag codes. Anybody got one that they love?

I hope I will not have to use it but living with newer cars says this is a must have.

I'm happy with my iCarsoft LR V2.0 which does everything I need and more. For a few $ more you can get the more powerful V3.0.
One downside is that it is LR and Jag specific so no good for any other make of car.
And yes a good code reader is a must have and can save you heaps, I know mine has.
One more thing, no code reader except the factory SDD (or Pathfinder for 2019 onwards) can reset airbag codes. Read yes, reset no.

I use an Autel 808 on all my cars and it works great Although I haven’t used it on the Jag much, I use it all the time for my RR and it’s great. Also used it on Beemers and a couple of domestic cars without a hitch.

Can you provide the full part number of the Autel you have? There seem to be many 808 models. Can yours program keys?

Maxicom MK808S. I ordered it from Amazon for $479. Not sure if it programs keys as I’ve never tried.
