Coolant leak under SC again :(

Default Coolant leak under SC again :(

I bought my V6S with a couple coolant leak fixes from the dealer including the Y pipe, thermostat, water pump, and a few random coolant hoses back in 2018 and 2019 from the previous owner.
But giant coolant leak occurred again and a puddle under the SC was found after I removed the water pump.
I plan to go ahead and replace majority of the coolant hose lines just for peace of mind (can’t find the culprit as I haven’t removed the SC yet).
i can’t seem to find the part # for this hose under the SC. If someone knows the part that would really help!

Certainly go with the aluminum replacements where you can, if you have not already.

We always remove the oil cooler and put it back with a new gasket.

It's AJ813614 on the V8. I'm not sure if the V6 uses the exact same hose, but hopefully that gives you an idea what to look for at least.

Once you're there, it's probably a good idea to replace the plastic rear heater coolant manifold too. And I can highly recommend Euro AMP's aluminum coolant pipes and the aluminum water pump outlet tube from URO Parts.

I got mine from Amazon:

This part is identical to the Jaguar C2Z18658 outlet tube, just aluminum.

Note that both the OEM and the URO Parts tube come with only one new O-ring for the water pump side, but there's an identical O-ring on the oil cooler side that you might want to replace too. I had originally planned to use the plastic OEM tube before I found the aftermarket aluminum one so I had a spare, but if you need to buy an extra O-ring, it looks like the part number for that is AJ811539.

Plus some maintenance while I'm at it.. new serpentine belt, spark plugs, SC oil change.

The plastic rear heater coolant manifold was already replaced back in 2019 under warranty.. maybe it is a good idea to get that one done again just to be safe, thanks!

My local Jaguar dealer in Atlanta just quoted me $5,377 to replace the coolant outlet pipe and thermostat on a 2014 XF 3.0 SC. That cannot be legal! Said it was 14 hours labor and $1,266 in parts.

A mechanic friend of my family was willing to replace the y-pipe, removing the supercharger and all, with the help of some how-to's on this forum. With parts and labor, I spent right around $900. Certainly am lucky to have an experienced mechanic friend, but I'd recommend you go to a third party euro car or jaguar specialist mechanic and ask them if you can buy the parts yourself to avoid any extra up-charges.

Hennessy Jaguar in Gwenett, $1,200 in parts and $4,200 in labor (14 Hrs labor).

Yep, that’s what I did. I located a local import repair shop that quoted $850 ish . Guess where it’s going.
