The dealer has told me oil change is only needed every 16k miles. Is that the case?
It is your car so do as you like. However many owners would consider 16K miles far too many miles between oil changes. I would strongly advise anyone that drives their vehicle hard (tracks it or is very aggressive on the public roads), to keep a weekly check on the oil level. There have been a few cases of "oil starved" engines needing to be replaced at a very high cost to their owners.

To be clear the ONLY ones who experienced that condition ALL had done after-market modifications to the engine so it is HIGHLY unlikely that non-modified engines would need the same diligence. However, checking the oil levels is VERY easy and threads on how to do so can be found on this forum with a simple search
The car itself in Georgia is crazy ! who cares about SVR badge. Im just playing with it with the owner of Georgia JLR center. Who owned only SVR, and mine looks much better... there is only two in the city going around.

Your nameplate says you have a 2017 model and I believe the oil change mileage frequencies authored by the factory for both 2017's and 2018's are 6,000 miles....and I'm too lazy to look at the manual, but I believe the "time" limit is one year, so it's one year or 16,000 miles, whichever comes first. Generally speaking, if you follow the factory's maintenance schedule, the factory will support warranty claims. BUT, I've been around a lot of high performance cars in my lifetime and lord knows the advancements in lubricating oils are off the charts, but I would never, ever run engine oil (synthetic or not) any more than 10-12,000 miles in any auto engine and that's only if it was mostly highway driving. I can deal with one year, but 16,000 miles, regardless of operating conditions, is no good in my opinion.

the harness is different, so they won't simply plug in, you'll need an auto electrician to trace the pins and manually wire them up, which isn't hard to do

Get rid of that silly front bumper bar and do something with your black plastic engine cover. There already is an F-Type with the same mods or more that is far "more beautiful" with all the little things done that add up in the grand scheme of things.
I am however very interested in hearing about putting the new style headlights in, and how you replaced the hella pump with a BOSCH pump that works much better.
Is that an OEM carbon SVR diffuser, or OEM made to look like carbon or aftermarket?
i have a V8 AWD R in the uk and want to fit an SVR diffuser and I’m wondering if it will fit without changing the plinth which holds the reversing lights as well. I see yours has a fillet where the diffuser meets the rear fender, to cover the gap where the plinth with the reversing lights hangs down slightly below the fender.

YOu have no clue. THe orange engine cover is for illustratinf purposes only. If you wrap them any colour, from heat it will get destroyed.
If you paint it any colour, they paint will come off.

Interesting, both engine covers have held up for close to 6 months in 90+ degree weather. Lol I have no clue.

I think if you really want to annoy your friend, you should try to source and install the Project 7 grille (either from Jaguar or Paramount Performance) along with the Sto N Sho license plate bracket. Check out the Project 7 grille thread: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/f...talled-167124/ for some examples.
Why not source the R-S badges from the original XKRS-GT and install them? They're available on eBay and will look like you have a new model altogether (irritating your friend) and also (hopefully) alleviate the criticism regarding your SVR badging.
Also, yeah the horsepower claim is a bit high. I did a couple of dyno runs with my water meth system on and off and it resulted in 5 extra hp (which is probably the max you'll get out of the new intercooler and pump). With all your other mods and the upper pulley, you'll probably be around the 635hp mark. Installing the crank pulley and water meth system will probably take you to around 660hp. Suggest you also check out Gibbo's RAM air intake mod, which had quite a significant impact on performance. Do note, the numbers I'm indicating here are based on my experience with 98 RON (93 AKI) fuel. Are you actually running 100 octane fuel for the tune?
