Anyone every take all the stuff behind the seats and the cargo cover (and side supports for it) out....was wondering what doing that and then having an car interior ship make it nice would do....more storage.....lighter.... not sure the subwoofers matter to me that much....just curious....
Thoughts? Anyone have images? Would obviously leave safety things in place of course.

you can cover the existing panels in better leather and that’s about if, painted body color if you’re feeling adventurous.
Not much useable space can be had, but it’s surprisingly empty behind the armrest/in front of the black plate. I could fit an under seat sub there and possibly put everything back without much trimming.
All trims combined, including everything in the trunk, is probably less than 30lbs.

Thanks. Great pictures!! Exactly what I needed to learn about - again, thank you!!
That is really interesting and dissapointing. That wiring harness for me is a "no go" item - it would have been so cool if only the safety bars were in that mix....to then custom fabricate an interior with more storage......I suspect that bolted in part does a lot for stiffness, but who knows.
