Default Coupe trunk lights.

I’ve vaguely noticed that my trunk lights haven’t been coming on the last couple times I’ve opened it at night. Is there a setting or switch I inadvertently hit to turn them off?

Its been pouring in DC for what seems like months, so I haven’t had a chance to poke around the car at night in the rain.

I believe you switch the interior lights between off and auto by touching the light near the rear view mirror, and keep touching it until it flashes. On my XE, I keep accidentally switching if off when I open the moonroof, with part of my hand resting on the light.

Can't help you on the trunk lights, but I hear you on the rain. Just finished mounting a couple of pontoons to the side of the car.

I have the same issue (well, not the rain). My trunk lights don't come on, even though all the interior ones do when I open the door. I've tried several different combinations and looked all through the manual. I'm stumped.

I did try the trick of holding the light by the mirror and it would simply control the lights in the cabin (overhead and doors).

Trunk lights were working earlier today during the daylight...

Looking at the online manual, it doesn't even make clear which fuse does power the trunk lights - after all, checking fuses could help to figure out what's going on...

I've looked right through the fuse box details in the Owner Manual (which supposedly lists all the fuses in all five fuse boxes) and not one single mention of these lights, so who knows what fuse if any looks after them.
