Default Current vs. Modern

I have to say it will be a sad day when all of the “Current” vehicles on the forum are transferred to the “Modern” category. I wonder if the “Current” vehicles will be transferred to “Classic” status?

Generally speaking, a car needs to be about 25 years old to be considered a "classic."

I am sure some of the more enterprising forum members will find a way to mod their F-Types to EV's before gas is no longer available, or find a way to bootleg their own gasoline supply.

Considering the potential profits at stake, it seems likely that somebody will come up with an alternative fuel that burns significantly cleaner in ICE vehicles, so I wouldn't worry about obsolescence. Plus, it would be political suicide to tell tens of millions of voters that they could not drive their ICE cars anymore. Even here in California, the woke EV crowd is nothing compared to the true car aficionados [particularly now that the EV scam has been exposed].

I was speaking with respect to this forum, not general classifications.

Still looks like 25 years +/-.
