Default Custom F-Type Mobile Phone Holder

Hey everyone im as a new F-Type owner I for a good mobile phone holder. I came across one solution and it didn’t look great. The lack of options is rather disappointing and frustrating.

I decided to design and 3D print my own bracket. It mounts onto the grab bar and paired with a very highly rated phone holder, it seems to work well.

I've covered the inside of the bracket in felt so as to not damage or mark the grab bar's leather. It attaches directly to an Mpow phone holder - https://goo.gl/WFfmCE which i think fits all phones. I designed it to allow me to still see and use all console controls.

Check out the photos and let me know what you guys think?

PM me if your interested and would like me to 3D print/make you one for left hand cars, id be happy to do so. I would kindly ask for a small fee to cover the cost of 3D printing and shipping from the UK to the USA. PM me if you’re interested. (hopefully I’m not overstepping any forum rules, just let me know if i am)

Cheers
JK

I would love to get one of these, ideally you could you wrap it in leather and add some matching stitching?

Awesome! I like this location idea. I have a 3d printer, but I think I'm going to just do this with velcro and leather and stitch it up nice.

I purchased this when it was first posted and can attest it is OUTSTANDING. I had struggled, ever since buying the far, with how to secure my phone. I had tried many solutions & when I got this...the hunt was over! Highly recommend...

Hi KL8000, Thanks for the interest. Please visit https://www.knightspeed.co.uk/shop/ where you will find a few options.

1, The FT-200 is our standard/basic phone holder.
2, If you want something a little more special the FT-450 is a wireless phone holder/charger that auto-opens and closes to securely hold your phone in place. Video link -

All phone brackets fit Left and right-land drive F-Types, they also come with our no hassle guarantee, if you break i'll give you a new one (excluding postage). The phone holders themselves have a 1 year guarantee.

Let me know if I can be of any more assistance?

Regards
Jonathan

Is the 3D printed bracket for sale apart from the €7 phone holder from Mpow?
Don't want to spend €100-€200 on a phone holder...

Hi Michael94,

Unfortunately I do not sell the bespoke F-Type brackets separately.

I do offer a basic F-Type bespoke phone holder which starts from £80.00.

***Before anyone else buys anything from this company (Knightspeed), beware it has some sorry customer service. It is impossible to check the status of your orders and there are no phone numbers to call anyone at the UK office. The email they provide is unmonitored so all inquiries go unanswered. Ordered my mount 5 weeks ago on 5/6 and I've got nothing to show for it. Tried sending 'Knightspeed' on the boards here a message, but naturally they don't have their account setup to accept private messages. Absolutely USELESS.

The fact that their avatar says "Former Sponsor" might give pause for thought...

Yea I should’ve noticed that. Too eager to seal an order for what looks like the perfect mount. I still really want it but I’m betting I’ll end up filing a claim thru PayPal in the end.
