Dashboard lights
Ok, I admit I've been listening to Meatloaf's Paradise by the Dashboard Light, but I do have a question.
My car went back to the dealer a few weeks ago due to a check engine light, a missing nut and bolt, and the infamous low battery warning. The check engine light was code p050b-93, and has to do with the cold start timing. They couldn't find any problems, and just programmed the ecm with the latest software.
So now when I turn the ignition on, before starting the car, the dash does the bulb check, but then the information triangle remains lit, in yellow, the check engine light remains lit, in yellow, and the battery light remains lit, in red. All of those lights go out, as soon as I start the car.
I assume the yellow information triangle and yellow check engine light are lit, to show that there is a code stored. But what about the red battery light?
I cannot find anything in the owner's manual about the battery light. And, I don't remember if this is a normal light.
Any thoughts? Thanks.
