Purchased my fourth Jaguar (F-Type, XJ, two XFs) from Century Automotive in Huntsville Alabama. Century's sales and service departments keep me in the Jaguar family. I can't say enough about the excellent dealings I've had with this dealership.

Slush ***** on the way...

I've tried to get my car out of storage 3 times in the past month, after a very mild Feb and start of Mar. We cancelled twice due to snow.

On the plus side (if you can call it that), weather has been truly crappy since I started trying to get the car back, so I wouldn't have driven it much. Big sleet/snow/rain/slush storm ended yesterday, lots of rain for the coming week. I hope to pick it up this Sat, with rain forecast.

For a golfer and convertible driver, not good. But not unusual in New England in April.

In spite of that, I kinda like Arne anyway.

Kinda like Arne? I love our Norwegian F-Type friend but not nearly as much as I love Norwegian women.

Giddy Up!

Thumbs up

I kind of like both of you - but I also like Norwegian women better, even though I am married to a Swedish one

And I canseled my planned trip with the car today as the roads are very dusty and full of pebbles/stones, since they have not cleaned the dirt from the roads yet.

They have started the clean up though, so hopefully there will be lots of driving in Easter - and it's only 3+ weeks til our trip to Nurgurgring. Looking forward to some high speed Porsche chasing on German autobahn ( maybe I will manage to see a 3 digit speedo in km/h starting with 3 this time )

In deference to my friends in all of of Scandia, having been through there with Pan Am many years ago,and also suffered VERY sever constant whiplash, I will also allow for a certain amount of variation in the available scenery. In S.W. Fla. where the average age is 93, I must admit that those bikinis must be limited when the camera come out. At least the year round driving helps make up for some of the other limitations.

Bought 2 Jaaaaags (2015 XF V8 s/c and 2016 F Type R) from Jaguar Land Rover Mission Viejo in Orange County, CA.
Tried (very much unsuccessfully) to purchase cars at the local San Diego dealerships; was very much turned off by the experience.
Can't say enough good things about the Mission Viejo dealership though: they went out of their way to get me into the Jags. Service dept was very pleasant to deal with as well.
Too bad San Diego dealers are so terrible.

It's like any business or business relationship; assuming you're old enough, surely most if not all of us have had positively fabulous experiences as well as awful (or worse). Thankfully I have had far more of the former than the latter. There's an Audi dealer here where if they called and offered to give me a new Audi, for free, I would say thank you but no thank (actually I wouldn't say even that but I would be censored if I wrote what I would want to say).

You get the point.
