Oh, I forgot to include a couple additional pics from some work I did last month. As you know from following the thread, the ABS unit was toast (literally) and it severely mangled all the brake lines. While everything worked without issue and the inner fender liner would have covered them, they were a complete mess. I wanted to get those replaced while I could still remove the fender with relative ease so I ordered the entire spiderweb of lines as a preassembled unit from Jaguar and got those installed and the system bled out.

I am quite fortunate to have married my best friend and someone that really gets me. When I can't sleep and get up and go for a screaming drive down curvy back roads to relax, she doesn't get upset...she just asks if I had fun when I return. No jealousy, no nagging...just an occasional eye roll.

I built her baby a couple years ago for her birthday.

...although she does occasionally get emotionally attached when I get rid of one of my projects to move on to something else.

The week of my wedding I started off in Lexington KY, Houston TX, New Orleans LA, Jackson MS, and made it back home to Birmingham, AL home late Thursday night in time to get everything prepped at the wedding venue on Friday for the Sat wedding.

Oddly enough, I still found time to put 3k miles on her with the mis-colored parts and wrinkled quarter panel just because she was so much fun to drive.

Just in case anyone is interested...I married up ]
You've done well! If we have a lick of sense we do as you do and marry up.....

Finally finished with the body work. I still have to have the seat bolster airbag replaced and repaired, but she is pretty once again

Those of you which are alert to details, I had the lower valance color matched.

I also went back with all black trim pieced vs the factory chrome gills...

Au contraire. I almost always forget to take "before" shots while doing a project at home and almost always regret it.

Thank you, and I do really enjoy my projects. There are a couple reasons I keep the "before" pics. Each step is documented for the new owner so they know everything I did to the vehicle, and to be quite honest, I feel a sense of accomplishment when I see them together

I will eventually let this one go for somewhere around wholesale/trade-in ($45k) but I want the new buyer to know he is getting a good vehicle for a good price.

LOL...Years ago when I was first getting started I restored 3 different Porsche 928's but they were not physically damaged, they were just neglected. The last one was a Euro and I sold it before I finished it never to look back. However, many Porsche guys even refuse to include the 928 in their little club, so I have since wised up/grown up and moved on to much more desireable projects.

Rule #1: the top has to be down if it isn't raining.
Rule #2: see rule #1

Hope you're able to put some miles on it before selling.

I agree with rule 1 and rule 2...but those were taken after a group of us rode over to Starbucks and it looked like it might shower while we were all inside in the AC...so even the Ferrari beside me put his up...so I did too

Oh, I am definitely putting miles on her, and it will be fall before I consider letting her go or putting her on the market with a price...but I first have to locate a rebuildable R AWD...

BTW, that bright green Lamborghini Aventador Superveloce Roadster is #1 of 500...he just took delivery of it. He has multiple Lambos and a handful of Ferraris including an Enzo he drives over occasionally...

BTW, that bright green Aventador is just as ugly in that color as it is in every other color in which it is available, clearly the ugliest car of all of those at your Cars and Coffee.
