Default Decision made!!!

Hi Forum,
Spoke to the Mrs..(AKA, the boss ) as well as my son and I've decided to pull the trigger. Going to buy a F-type R. Like my XKR, it has to be a convertible. Not sure about color yet. My XKR is black, may go that way again. My STR is radiance, or red. I may go BRG this time...Still undecided on that. I noticed the consensus as for tuner seems to leans more towards VelocityAP. Would you guys agree? I read you can get 640hp with a pulley and tune...that sounds nice I did the pulley, tune, ( from ETG), and exhaust on my XKR and she is quick....very quick. The only dyno I used though was the butt dyno. Not that I use it much, but I like to know the speed is there. I'm thinking '16 or '17 CPO...is there a particular package I should make sure it has or anything I should watch out for? I look forward to joining you guys on this forum! Thanks.

The vision pack ( parking sensors and backup camera specifically) is the only real must-have. Yes, you can't go wrong with VAP. They will work with you to ensure your complete satisfaction.

Don't think heated seats will be that important in Arizona, and for me, black would not be a first choice, but that is also an individual decision. I went with metallic BRG. Vision pack is a definite plus, as the sloping hood and fenders(wings), make parking challenging sometimes. You just don't want to ding your 'baby'.

Why would you pay extra for CPO car if you plan to tune? Moment you tune most of your warranty is void.

Good advice afore mentioned, I would add AWD, and obviously chose BRG as well.

I always think tune....once you go down that road, it' hard to get off. My XKR is tuned, etc. I probably would wait until its out of warranty though.

BRG definitely may be the way to go. If I wash my XKR say, on Sunday, by Wednesday, you can't tell. There's a lot of dust in AZ and it shows up on black cars almost immediately.

Good deal. Metallic BRG sounds awesome. Would you mind posting some pics? I'd love to see it.
