Default Decision: Polaris white to Firesand Orange

I am upgrading from the Base V6 MT to the V6S MT -- it's hard to find used manual transmission F-types but I found one that is Firesand Orange. I currently have the base Polaris White model.

I know I'm about to ask a very subjective question, but curious to get some thoughts from the forum members --> going from a white car to an orange car is a big change. Will I get sick of the Orange? Is it too over the top?

I don't own the firesand as mine is Polaris but I do love the orange especially for the coupe. I never tire of seeing it.

Firesand if no red calipers and the taillights SEEM to clash red/orange also. Might be wrong - only have seen pics which often times really don't cut it as opposed to seeing something in daylight - live and in person.

Who can say what color you like/dislike? Back in 2007 I bought an Atomic Orange Vette. Until then, all of my cars had been silver or blue. I loved the Orange! In between I got a silver Porsche, but I wish it could have been Orange(without a custom color). When I moved to the F-Type, Firesand was one of the BIG positive factors. I love it and never get tired of it.

I'd have one. The car is so pretty you can get away with something really flashy. I have IRR and I get people taking photos of the car all of the time, I think firesand would be moreso.

Black pack and black wheels look great on firesand. Helps the orange.

If the only reason you are getting the car is because of the MT, it might be worth taking your time. Orange is not a "blend in" color like white, silver, etc.. My truck is white and rubicon is silver, so not knocking either color.. I *own* my FS because I love the color and lines with the color. I would still like a white ftype, but it wouldn't be the same feeling when I saw her. Might be the same going from white to FS.

I had the choice between two almost identical V8S's; the one I bought was the Polaris white with red interior and the other was Firesand and black. Both looked stellar IMO though I was a bit worried I'd get tired of the orange eventually.....guess I'll never know.

The first F-Type I ever saw on the road was a Firesand vert - fell in love immediately and went out and got one. IMHO the F-Type and this color just go together.

That said, a major disadvantage of the color is it might affect resale value. Most people shy away from a LOOK AT ME/ARREST ME color like bright orange.

A major advantage of the color (or any light color) is it can get pretty dirty and still look good. Most of my cars in the past have been black or dark shades of green. It was way harder to wash them without water spots and properly waxed without swirls.

I love the look of the firesand orange. It's a beautiful color to look at. That was my second choice.

To a big fan of firesand, can't beat IRR, then BRG then Polaris then Indigo Blue then black.

Firesand is such an interesting color. The slight metallicy-ness of the paint makes the orange brighten and shimmer in direct sunlight. Whenever someone compliments me on the car, they always mention the color.

It will be very sad to see Firesand disappear in 2018. My lease is up with the 2019 or 2020(just starting) model year and I love this car so much I have some difficult choices.

Firesand is easily my first choice for an F Type, everything else being equal.

I'm biased and i love firesand, never had a bad word said about it.
All f types stand out from the mundane but being fs i think it stands out even more, so if you love attention go for it
