Defective Carbon Fiber Bits on eBay

By now you have probably seen the overnight proliferation of Carbon Fiber bits for F-Types on eBay. Overall, the quality of the C/F bits is pretty good for the price. However, one area to avoid, is any bits that are fabricated for the interior. More specifically, parts that are fabricated for left and right side application in the car (e.g. Door Trim). The problem is that the fabricator is cutting the right and left side pieces without regard to the direction or grain of the carbon fiber. They should be "mirror images" of each other. So what you'll get are right and left pieces that have the grain of the carbon fiber in opposite directions when mounted. I have tried to explain this to no less than 10 suppliers but they don't seem to get it. My last correspondence requested updates on when the factory would address the problem with L/R Carbon Fiber bits. The pieces that are "center orientated" (e.g. Console C/F bits) are fine. It's just the L/R pieces that are the problem. I will let you know if/when this problem is addressed. Just a heads up!
