was waiting for cambo to post in here as our resident tech expert
Cars in the 2016-2017MY with the 770W Meridian kept the IAM2.1 infotainment, VIN's K22185 to K47319. The homescreen was changed but it's still IAM2.1 "Bosch"
my vin ending 30638 with the 770w should be good for this android unit then - just need confirmation they have a RHD specific face plate/bracket

The other giveaway is your navigation maps, if you have an SD Card slot with the maps on it, you have NLI "Harman", the IAM2.1 "Bosch" never had SD Cards.

Now I'm little bit confused . If, for the moment the only version available is the Bosch Unit , so why they are selling a Harman Unit here : Jaguar F-TYPE ,,JAGUAR,Shenzhen Merryway Technology Co., Ltd.

I think we are at a point where we don't know what we don't know. Once I receive the unit and do the guide/review over the weekend, I'll go into a lot of depth of the usage. Also, for the potential group buy, I would hope to lock down the version/software combination so there are no surprises when they start getting sent out. Fingers crossed that it has everything we want! This would put the F-Type 'back in the game' technologically speaking.
