Looks terrible. They desecrated a work of art.

There is a white one with a black stripe like that, with nicer rims, that looks great IMO.

To each his own I think... lots of purists on here.

Me too--just a wrap and easily removable.

Not a fan. As you guys may have seen I've been trying to do some kind of stripe myself to give it a different look. But it feels like stripes on the F-Type is hard to get right whereas some cars feel right with stripes. This was take 1, checkered flag twin stripes. Barely visible, more subtle. Today I decided to try an all white thicker stripe.

There are certain lines on the F-type that you just can't mess with. The not complete blackout of the hood ruins every line traveling from the rear haunches forward to the lights.

I couldn't agree more. That black bonnet and roof destroys the natural lines of the car.

It's an ABOMINATION! Burn the witch!!!

I don't like that, but I think an all matte black f-type would be awesome.

On a side note. I don't think you could have parked any closer to that concrete post than you did. Oh,.... the stripe has to go. Cecil......

As others have said it is just a vinyl wrap so easily reversible, but I agree it ruins the lines.

door dings! I worry more about door dings than pretty much anything else.

I would only add, every line. In my opinion, this F-Type is one of the most gorgeous cars - "out-of-the-box" - I've ever had the pleasure to see, never mind own and drive.

I'm guessing many on this forum agree with you. In the past quarter century, there have not been any auto designs adequate to cause me to desire a new car until Ian designed the Vanquish that was well beyond my (spousally limited) budget. What he did extremely well with the Vanquish, he did perfectly with the F-Type. Adding the 6sp. made it a no-brainer for me (which is fortunate given my grey matter reserves).
