Different look...

I'm guessing many on this forum agree with you. In the past quarter century, there have not been any auto designs adequate to cause me to desire a new car until Ian designed the Vanquish that was well beyond my (spousally limited) budget. What he did extremely well with the Vanquish, he did perfectly with the F-Type. Adding the 6sp. made it a no-brainer for me (which is fortunate given my grey matter reserves).
The Vanquish was my "now I can die happy" car until I laid eyes on the F Type.
When I heard it start up, it was all over ... "just take my money"!

Not a fan. As you guys may have seen I've been trying to do some kind of stripe myself to give it a different look. But it feels like stripes on the F-Type is hard to get right whereas some cars feel right with stripes. This was take 1, checkered flag twin stripes. Barely visible, more subtle. Today I decided to try an all white thicker stripe.

I just have never been a fan of matte wraps or paint jobs, especially in black. It always looks like an unpainted car to me. Like a car that's been in an accident and they could only afford to put the primer on after salvaging some body parts from the junkyard. Also heard they are a pain to keep clean but that might only be for the more satin finishes. Not sure.
