Default Discounts on the 2021?

I'm now considering a 2021 as my 2017 comes off lease. To the point, for those who have leased or purchased a 2021, how much have the dealers come down on the sticker? I'm getting my ducks in line before I begin the anticipated bothersome negotiations!

Thanks in advance...

Dave

I don't know about the '21s, but I got about $6K off and 0% financing on a '20 model. It seems as though there's quite a few '20 models left, so they may not be that motivated on moving the '21s yet.

I’m in the same situation. MY 17 R coupe, lease was actually up May 5 . I decided to extend the lease (chase bank just let’s you continue to make lease payments for 5months) and see what developS in June/July as far as MY2021 R incentives and COVID stuff. The reworking of the 2021 engine tune, suspension, steering tune, interior display, and a few other things interest me. I think I like my MY17 front end design better, but I’ll reserve judgement. My gut tells my JLR will shoot themselves in the foot and not offer any incentives. They will on the older models that will sit in dealerships if they don’t offer good incentives. There is not enough difference on my 17 and the MY20 to warrant a change. I may bite the bullet and purchase The 17, even the the residual on the 17 is high, the plus is that I know the history of my car and that it was treated with care.

I bought my 2020 F type R convertible in Feb. 20 prior to the 21 model and was able to get $20,000 off the list price on a brand new car.
