I have a 2017 just about out of warranty. It's at the dealer for warranty covered water pump/coolant pipe replacement. I asked about SC oil changeout. Service adviser says "jaguar says" SC is sealed, no need to do anything til 100000 miles. It's a V-6 MT with about 32000 miles on it. Is the oil change out really that easy? Pop the plug and suction it out? If so , I will press them to do it, no stinky brown oil for me!

Many thanks to all who either posted or reached out to me with valuable and helpful suggestions and instructions for the SC oil issue. I have provided my JLR tech with all your good advice, what "owners" have experienced and done with SC oil VS JLR's wording that the SC is sealed and good for 100,000 miles, and that is exactly what was in his "authorized" manual. Without your suggestions, he had never thought of investigating it further, since there had been no need. There are not as many Fs here as there are in other US areas, and has not seen any with the 100,000 miles on them. Not sure how many other JLR vehicles might be around here. He had an old SC in the shop and did find the plug and was able to get the oil out of it. He is of the same "old school" philosophy as pertains to 'regular' oil changes, with some modifications due to modern oils and modern engines. He was going to contact Eaton, and THANK YOU The ROCK, for forwarding me all the F specifics, so that he could get a good grip on the methodology and correct oil for refills. The tech indicated he is going to find out the details this coming week, so I am hopeful that I can pass on good news.

So the update today is that the JLR tech is going forward with the SC oil change on my 2017 base Premium 6 cyl MT. He thinks he found a GM oil that would work ???? Corroboration and part number for that oil. I thought I saw it in a post somewhere and Of COURSE, can't find it now.
If you have the GM oil or something US that is acceptable, I can forward that info. Thank you!

Might try this:
https://superchargersonline.com/prod...ulk-fill-8-oz/
Eaton branded supercharger oil.
A search on the TVS R1320 supercharger oil capacity says fill is 5.2 oz. But I would probably only replace the amount of oil removed.

I could not find another drain hole, but it was difficult to see sine the symposer is in the way.
You can sorta see the cog/gear in this picture.
