Do you let the dealer wash your car?

Near deal breakers when buying a used car. Front plate mounted on bumper. Auto car washes or dealer washes. A scratch fest. If a dealer washed my car after being told not to I'd force them to pay for full paint correction.

Now I do
I've always had dark gray or black cars, last 2 were Maseratis, the paint was fairly soft so I'd never let them wash them. It's just too easy to grind in some swirl marks or worse with just one washing. I've always been pretty obsessive about washing it myself: 2 bucket method with grit guards, 1 mitt for top of car, another for the bottom, water de-ionizer and blow the water off when done. But after years of therapy, I can finally let others wash my car without needing to take Valium . BUT, my F-Type is white, and has a clear bra on the front end, rockers etc Swirls are much less noticeable on white and if they start to show up, I can get them out with my DA buffer.
I've also found a very good local hand washer that I go to if I don't feel like washing it myself.
