Thanks, that's exactly what I've done as depicted in post #10 above.
Many have commented that it is totally unnecessary to use a maintainer since the car can sit for a month or more and still start without problems. While that may be true, it is also the case that lead acid batteries last a lot longer if they maintain close to a full charge all the time, and don't ever run down. With a BT wired to the battery buss, it's so simple to keep it plugged in, and I do that if my car is going to be idle for more than a few days.

Good, glad it worked well for you. You shouldn't get any errors/alarms.
You should see the ECO button light on startup as it does its self checks, then it will go out for good once you start driving.
If you do press the ECO button it will display that the ECO function is no longer available - What a result?!!!
