Honda/Acura NSX (not the new one) Throw on a supercharger. All the exotic car highlights with Honda Civic reliability.

Unfortunately, it looks like a Boxster.

Agree. For driving dynamics I bet it feels awesome. Will be a debate for me one day. But for now loving the looks and sound and power of the Jag.

That's the combo I've always looked for in my dream car with the exception of the convertible part. Replace convertible with targa and now we are talking.

Depends on how old you want to go. Like others mentioned mid-engined Ferraris would fit the bill but that last one was the F430 in 2009.

The R8 is AWD and ugly. The new NSX will be flappy paddle.

cayman are hard tops.

The closest thing I found to my dream combo is my NSX with the targa. I'm about 60 HP short. Debating whether or not to supercharge or keep stock and just get my power fix from the Jag.

The closest I can think of is a boxster GTS which i feel is under powered. I had a 997S with above specs but I don't prefer the rear engine feel.
Thoughts?
I think the Boxster Spyder will more than exceed your expectations. Great car.

None of my business of course but I vote for keeping your NSX stock - having owned 2 NSX's over the years, including a 1997 with the targa roof, I still think it's one of the most beautiful (reliable, fun and, yes, under-powered) cars ever made - and get your power fix from your Jag. (I also have my dad's 1990 Miata so our taste in cars seems to run rather parallel).
