Unhinged explained it best, the recovery time from DSC activation is annoying.
Bottomline, if you are as good of a driver as you think, then DSC should not catch your fall, and if it does the penalty should help train you.

I can drive in a straight line and not trip the DSC.

Normal. My car dead-hooked at Sonoma while launching it as hard as possible.

There's a reason (besides $$$) I bought the v8s. RWD baby!

Next time add a little brake to get the tires moving before takeoff.

Unlike most automatics; this will just induce the torque limiters on the V8 and you'll accelerate more slowly. I've never had a faster 60ft time than launching off idle.

Youre not going to spin the tires on the PSSs.

I get the tires moving just fine on my rwd with PSS. Sounds like an AWD issue.

Thanks guys for the insights. It's good to know this is normal behavior on these tires with the V8R. My G35 could spin the MPSS with no problem. I think I was hoping for a 4 wheel burn out :-P. I've just never owned a car that didn't spin the tires at least slightly on launch. I was worried the DSC was still doing some magic even though it's supposed to be turned off. Well at least its good to know the R is putting all the power down efficiently. This R was able to do it, but I guess he is running the P-Zeros.
