Does stage 3 by Velocityap make any difference
Considering going stage 3 with the upper pulley, but I not seen much input on the griptec pulley, I understand the theory about it ,but in real life is it noticeable, before I open my wallet ,I have stage 2 with transmission tune on a V6,

I was running VAP’s Stg2 for a while, then Stg2 + TCU tune, and now Stg3, TCU tune and their lightweight rotors. The upper pulley (to make it Stg3) and rotors were done at the same time so hard to say exactly the added benefit of adding just the upper, but I can tell you that the upper + rotors has made a huge difference in acceleration. I intend on doing some Dragy runs this weekend to compare and will share.

I believe VAP only offers the installation tool for the supercharger pulley. I am also interested in knowing what puller people have used to remove the stock supercharger pulley. I just purchased the upper pulley to go from Stage 2 to Stage 3 and plan to do the install this winter.

After talking to Chris at VAP (thanks Chris!) - I ordered one of these (black Friday pricing might still be in effect, I paid $100 shipped):
https://www.ecstuning.com/b-schwaben...025746sch01kt/ Great pics of the tool on the site.
It is not perfect (it's for 3.0L supercharged Audi's) but it will work fine and unless you gorilla it the existing pulley will be undamaged. I looked at all kinds of other options at many sites, for an extra $40 it seems worth it (?) to not mangle things up. Sucks that I think I may never need to use this tool again, but hey I'm a guy, more tools is good. :-)
