They're both mas ridiculoso but from the cabin, I prefer the Jag. Outside the Aston has it, at least with their equipment. The only thing is the wind down sort of bothers me.

They both sound amazing. But isn't it a moot point, Jaguar going to inline 6 and Aston going to AMG V8 and V12 turbos (which sound like s**t), also Rapide is being replaced by an SUV I've hear.

It wouldn't have worked with the 2 x 6 = 12 theme, but the V8 might have been a better comparison against the V12 sound wise.

The V12 sounds absolutely delicious in the cabin...deeper and more throaty than the V6.

Agreed. The V12 has quite the interior sound.

I think the Jaguar "sound engineers: need to replace their hearing aid batteries..

Just MHO.. sounds a bit too "ricerish"...

If it actually sounded the way it does on that video, I'd be inclined to agree with you. However, to my human ear, the tone is deeper, with a much nicer resonance than what I heard on the recording above. The popping and crackling sounds aren't quite right either.

Consumer grade video recording devices do a much better job of capturing high-grade video than they do recording accurate sound.
