Default DSC initiated?

On my MINI I have a DSC warning light that flashes when the computer is limiting throttle input due to traction loss. Has anyone found a similar feature on any of the available F-Type screens? I was experiencing some serious torque-curve flattening around 3000 rpm for a while before I figured out that the DSC was intervening. (The tires don't like sub-50 degree weather).

Mine does the same when the rear lose traction, but it takes some real tail movements before it (rather gently) interveins and the DSC light comes on. Usually my eyes are then bussy looking ahead, but I have intentionally looked for the light to come on sometimes - and it does.

My manual says "If the lamp flashes while driving, the DSC system is active." Don't recall if I've noticed this, but I seldom drive in a manner that would activate it.

Unlike Lance...

Yep, my DSC light flashed all the time when I had the P-Zeros on but I have rarely seen it with the MPS4S on.

I've never visited Islay, but it's visited my liquor cabinet a number of times.

Well...come to think of it...I never look at the instrument cluster when I'm at full throttle. We really need a HUD in these cars.

Completely agree, particularly like the 'eyes busy" reference.
