dual colored pipes on F-Type R?
I have a Salsa Red F-Type R and it came with dual colored exhaust tips. The outside ones are golden and the inner are silver. I have looked at 5 other F-Type R's and none of them have this feature, none of them were red either. I asked the dealer and they were pleasantly surprised by the find as they had never seen that before.
Anyone have this feature? Anyone know why it is there? It is not listed on the options list for my car.
And before anyone asks, no it is NOT discoloration or oxidization on the pipes. :-)

Great looking F-Type, BTW. First F-Type I've seen in Salsa Red. Really pops on those black wheels.

I am not sure what you mean by "only 2 are used", but this suggests that in normal mode the inner 2 are used and maybe the outer 2 are also used with limited or no airflow (depending on whether the valves actually shut all the way) , and in open exhaust mode all 4 are used.
The electrical diagram doesn't indicate a shutoff relay for the inner pipes when the valves are open, so all 4 should be used.

Boy, you guys are a tough crowd!
I did dispel the notion that it was discoloration in my opening post :-)
You all even supported my point as the Golden colored exhaust was the outside exhaust (the one used only in Sport Mode) and thus likely the less used of the two.
I discovered this on the second day of ownership with less than 100 miles on the car, and the car was cold and being washed. I am very familiar with exhaust pipe discoloration, and this is not it.
I took a picture for all of you, sorry I did not add one originally. I tried to get the lighting right, hopefully it is clear.
The gold color is consistent and even across the entire pipe, discoloration from heat is never consistent and across the entire pipe.
Discoloration also takes a few miles to set in completely.

So I wonder if this is on all Salsa Red cars. To date all pictures showing the dual tone tail pipes are Salsa Red. Can other Salsa Red owners see if they have this as well? I wonder if the Italian Racing Red also comes with dual tone colors. So far all Black F-Types have only silver exhaust tips.
Looking forward to hearing from owners of other colors on this mystery.
