Default Dumb question on F-Type S

Is the F-Type S available with the Supercharged 5 litre V8?
According to the Jaguar website here in Australia it is only available with the V6.

That's correct. If you want the supercharged 5.0 L V8, then you buy the R, not the S.

And I can highly recommend it!

here's the line-up:
2014 V6 (3L), V6S (3L), V8S (5L) all convertibles
2015 Same as above plus the following coupes V6 (3L), V6S (3L), V8R (5L)
2016 (all available in coupe or convertible)
V6 (3L) RWD/AT or RWD/MT,
V6S (3L) RWD/AT, RWD/MT or AWD/AT
V8R (5L) AWD/AT, *RWD/AT (non-U.S.)
all the engines have been supercharged
V6=340hp, V6S=380hp, V8S=495hp, V8R=550hp

More complexity to follow over the next few years

The V8S was the first release as a convertible only.

The R was the released as a coupe only, if you wanted a V8 convertible you had to buy the V8S.

Now the V8S has been dropped, and you only get the R in either coupe or convertible.

Oh and for our American friends, you can still get RWD V8's in the rest of the world, they only dropped them in North America...

Here's the 2016MY lineup downunder...

V6 Manual Coupe – $119,470
V6 Automatic Coupe – $124,470
V6 Manual Convertible – $138,170
V6 Automatic Convertible – $143,170
V6S Manual Coupe – $151,770
V6S Automatic Coupe – $156,770
V6S AWD Automatic Coupe – $172,470
V6S Automatic Convertible – $175,470
V8 R Automatic Coupe – $226,970
V8 R AWD Automatic Coupe – $242,670
V8 R Automatic Convertible – $245,670
V8 R AWD Automatic Convertible – $261,370

EDIT

Although it seems we are missing the V6S Manual Convertible, and the V6S AWD Convertible...?

Thank you for all your replies everybody.
I was a bit concerned when my friend bought her F-Type S (V8) convertible around the other day and I tried to find out more about it, only to discover the Jag dealer did not list the V8 as currently being available as an S.
She order her car about 3 months ago and took delivery a week or so back. That would make it a 2014.
Without a doubt a brilliant car to drive.

That would still make her car a 2015.
