Best tires out right now are the obvious PS4S or the Continental Extreme Contact Sport if you want to spend a bit less while attaining a phenomenal performing tire. Anything less than that is a compromise as a DD tire.

I assume that with track compound and a treadwear rating of 80 (though that is of course relative), these tires would have a much shorter life than the Michelins.

Damn...$537 shipped for the set. Couldn't pass that up.

That was the cheapest set of tires I've ever ordered, and the first non-Michelins since 2007. Thank you, OP.

Ordered as well. $560 shipped. Hope the 305’s fit my 20x10 Oronas. If not I can grab a set of Gyrodynes (great looking wheel.. fits the XKR’s with mild spacers up front)

Thanks again for the deal post!

AWD or not, your wheels will float and you have no ability to steer.
I tried them on track and they were no faster than the Falken FK510. Unlike them the Falken are good in rain...
With the Falken FK510, I managed to run the JCNA slalom as fast during torrential rain (actually faster) than other F-Type on dry and 4 seconds faster than the fastest F-Type on dry.
That's the best handling tire for the F-Type (proof is in the results)

Thanks for the post.
Great price.

But my search on Amazon for my 2017 AWD R shows it's almost $600 for each tire, for 255/35R20 fronts & 295/30R20 rears .
So I'm doing something/.searching wrong.
Can you pls attach the link to the exact tires?

Also, pls quick explaination on pros & cons of "slightly oversize" of 265 & 305's vs stock 255 & 295

Thanks,

Thanks,
ebay the 265’s and 305’s. Amazon didn’t show any results for me either. The 265 and 305’s will be a tad wider and should fit the F-type wheels just fine. I don’t see any cons to a little more surface area.

I ordered two sets for the rear. When I initially looked at it on ebay it said 10 sold, just looked back and it says 27 sold. Haha I bet most of those are us.

My tires just got in. Any reason why the inside pattern is different on the tires? (I bought two rear sets)

Michelins are the same way - the Michelin PS4S has different compound on the outside vs inside, which I hear isn't that unusual.

The four rear 305s I ordered were all stamped 2014. The guy at discount tire said they normally send them back to factory hub in 3 years and they put them out for sale as used or extremely discounted. So this makes sense.

Check those dates gents, some of the ebay auctions show DOT manufacture dates of 2013. Little stale for my tastes...

Shouldn’t be an issue if stored properly (Mostly out of the sunlight)
