Default Dynamic Launch Control

I've searched the forum and can't find a definitive answer. Does the "R" have dynamic launch control? I've tried it a couple of times and nothing comes up on the screen. Am I doing something wrong or does my car not have it?

I'm not 100% sure, however a Jag mechanic told be the R does NOT have it.

It doesn't really seem to need it. It hooks up well. I was just wondering in case I took it to the drags one day.

No launch control--- but the electronic diff does a great job of making adjustments from a dig.

The V8s doesn't have launch control either.

I have a V8S and it does not have launch control as mentioned in the above post.

I agree with earlier posts that it does not need launch control.

Only the six cylinder models have launch control. The V8 models do not come with it.

When you guys do a drag run do you leave the car in drive ort switch to sport mode? Does putting the car in dynamic mode override the sport mode shift pattern?

As far as I've heard, leaving it into D in Dynamic Mode is the best for a drag race. But I did not have time to verify this.

My R does not have launch control either. I also find interesting that the carbon fiber rear diffuser is made only for the V6 and not the V8
