It seems you have a MY 2015.
If that is correct you have two batteries, a main battery and a secondary stop/start battery, and to permanently disable the stop /start system you don't "pull a plug", instead you disconnect the earth/ground lead from the secondary battery (from where it bolts to the floor of the truck).
Either that or you can go the whole hog and completely remove the secondary battery like I did a few weeks ago.
Either way all it does is totally completely and permanently disable the stop/start system with zero effect on anything else.
The secondary battery is on the RHS of the trunk/boot, half tucked under the rear/side trims.
Edit - I think the secondary battery is showing on the RHS of your second pic, and the earth lead tie down is almost smack in the middle of that pic.

Okay that explains it, glad to know I'm not blind, spent a good 10 minutes with my head inside the trunk and couldn't locate it haha. Will check again tomorrow, thanks.

Done it and working like a charm, manual spoiler at park still works, eco button no longer illuminates and dash shows auto start stop not available.

Attached is location of the nut to loose, I wrapped the end with a plastic bag and tucked it away. Also the nut is very soft, make sure you use something that fits, I used a universal socket and almost stripped it.

Glad to see it worked out.
Now you can enjoy many years of no annoying pointless stop/start system!

Also, throw away your universal sockets and adjustable wrenches. Using those is like using a screwdriver to scrape bugs off your bonnet.

I'm a visual kind of guy, so having those pictures with inserted instructions is nice. This will be one of the first things I do when I get my car delivered.

1. Remove battery liner in rear boot.
2. Remove boot (trunk) liner
3. Locate control module bottom right hand side - as you look in the boot
4. Remove the below plug and secure back with a Ty-wrap

5. Put the liners back in

When re-starting your car, the ECO button will illuminate during the system checks for a few seconds and then extinguish.

ECO Stop/Start will no longer function.
No errors are flagged on the display unless you press the ECO button, and it will show that ECO Stop/Start is unavailable.

ENJOY!
2018 convertible is on left hand side of boot (trunk)

Why does yours look like that and mine looks like this? Can't even reach the clip with everything in the way. Did you need to move anything or take the bracket bolts out?

Maybe the difference between the coupe and the convertible?

That's what I was thinking but the 2018 convertible pic posted didn't have all the other additional wires. I bought it pre-owned so it's possible they have something to do with the ctek install. Either way I pulled the harness with pliers and it worked great!
