I feel your pain, Foosh. Back when I lived in Darnestown, driving my e-Type in DC traffic was the first time I ever wished I didn't have a clutch.

Funny, I'm an NC native and Duke grad!

Default ECO glitsch

Happened again tonite while simultaneously fiddling with the clutch and stick to inch forward. I'll get them to flash the damned thing after I get the car coated and yank the wires in the meantime. After 3 days, 250 miles on the car. With the next 3 free weekends coming up, I should be able to get past the break-in and into some fun driving within the next 3-4 weeks.

Experimentation is different than entertainment.

So what is it doing? "Crapped out" is not a technical term I understand. I thought it had to be in neutral with the clutch pedal up to engage eco-mode in the manual. I assume it is not "flashing D."

"crapped out" is the technical term for " engine won't start when clutch is depressed".

Term was originally coined by a mechanical engineering in the thermo labs at Stanford University back in 1974 while working on an experimental AMC stratified charge engine. The same environment may well have spawned the widespread use of POS as a technical term. Anyone not familiar with the RCH as a unit of measurement may pm me for an explanation. (right back at ya).

When this happens, start button has to be pressed twice to restart engine (once to turn off ignition, once to fire the engine back up again.

Would have helped had you said the above in the first place. That is a problem. Unplug it.
