Default Emergency 'Park' Release

I have recently came across an F-Type owner who stalled in the center of an intersection. The Car was dead and went into park. It could not be pushed to safety... I found the procedure below listed in the Vehicle Handling Guide for Jaguar Transport... A good piece of information to tuck away!

Pic please, I haven't seen it yet. Also, not very useful in the boot if the power is down. The only lever I've seen in the boot is the kidnap rip cord.

The PDF only applies to ATs.

Instruction are only for getting the transmission out of Park and into Neutral on an auto tranny... no need for 'special' instructions on a manual. The only thing I have seen about releasing the parking brake is below... (this is from JLR's 'delivery guide')
