Engine cover.

We have come to the conclusion that the Engine Cover (shroud) on the F TYPE (my 2015 3.0) is having an effect on the overflow lines coming from the reservoir making them "brittle" and they will snap. There was a heat Test performed and there was a significant difference in the temp. Some members, including me have decided to remove the cover, my question now is i'm curious to know what effect it's going to have on the paint job from under the hood, my F Type is white and i'm afraid now of the paint turning yellow or damaging the paint. Any reply's welcome.

Thing must happen more slowly in the antipodes than here in Canada. I took the cover off my engine today and that took all of 4 seconds. In fact writing these two lines has taken far longer than removing the cover.

I'm allowing time to open the hood, close it again and put the cover somewhere!
